Do you know what sucks about relationships that end on good terms?
You never fully understand where things went wrong. You also will never get the closure you need. Somewhere along the lines of your relationship you guys just grew apart and that’s what makes it harder to let go. Neither of you ever did anything to hurt each other so there is no anger to hold on to, to make it easier to move on. Because of that you will always care tremendously about this person and it will hurt so so much to see them fall in love with someone else. So can you be friends with someone you ended on good terms with? You can and it will be hard but it will be worth it because loving someone means - you only want the best for them even if their happiness doesn’t involve you anymore but you know what else sucks?
